1.Varanasi the city older than time

4.Amritsar

Amritsar justifies the colorful Sikh culture like no other place; it is a perfect blend of traditions, culture and urbanization. The city is divided in two parts old Amritsar and new Amritsar. Amritsar was Founded in 1577 by the Sikh Guru Ramdas. It also has a rich history rather dark history because of the incidences like Jallianwala Bagh attack by Genaeral Dyre and forces on 13 April 1919, fights during India Pakistan partition and many others, but this place has given us many brave freedom fighters who fought for India’s freedom. In Golden Temple world’s largest free community lunch is held, and people from all walks of life and all religion, sit and eat together. 5.Bodhgaya

Bodhgaya is one of the four holiest cities of Buddhist faith. The Mahabodhi temple is the main attraction of this town and is located near the spot where Lord Buddha attained spiritual enlightenment. Bodhgaya is also an important center of Buddhist studies. In the 6th century when the local Prince Siddhartha renounced all marital possessions and gave up all the luxuries in life, and after rigorous tapasya he attained Enlightenment. The place Bodhgaya is famous because Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment near this place under the Bodhi tree. 6.Dharamshala

Dharamshala a city in Himachal Pradesh. Here you will find many monasteries and Buddhist shrines. The place has rich culture and it is the best place to escape in the arms of nature.
